Arrgh, I and a lot of others around here were knocked online for a while there by some unspecified internet error. Some got a little testy… Anyway, we’re back online…

Joe wrote a few .htaccess rules that will outlaw any proxy access, if you’re in a hurry and need to close down a proxy before you know how to turn off the service: htaccess to close proxy. This is especially useful for clueless sys admins, or sys admins in a hurry…

And it’s weird. The Bulgarians are back to comment spamming. How come they make intense spam runs with trackback, and then stop abruptly? Did they hire a trackback script for a day? Alexander tends to do the same.
