What’s in cushions from Ikea?

I bought a sofa cushion at Ikea. Put it in the trunk of my car, then took it home. I left it in the entry for a few hours, and the cat came to investigate.

And promptly went nuts.

I don’t know what was in that cushion, but he behaved almost like it had been sprayed with catnip.

So, what was in that thing?

That’s funny. I had a cat once that when berserk with the floor after I mopped it with bleach. She was just writhing and rolling on the floor after it’d dried out.

Sometimes it’s just that there’s something new in the house that doesn’t smell like it’s theirs. My mom returned me a pillow that I’d embroidered many years ago for my grandmother, and both my cats tried to tear it to pieces at first.
